Re: Video from original Spinning Songbook shows?
I've seen the odd clip on Youtube - there is a clip of EC singing Knowing Me Knowing You which I remember was played at the RAH show I attended in 1987 (my first Elvis show!), but I think the film may be from Liverpool? Apart from that I haven't been able to find much else  There is a complete...

Re: Gramercy Theater Wish List!
It’s a great song indeed, but more importantly, who’s Chris Kamara? Sorry - originally had typed a bit more but deleted it. No known EC linkage. As per Wikipedia* "Christopher Kamara MBE (born 25 December 1957) is an English former professional football player and manager who worked as a prese...

For example people with spare gig tickets contact fellow fans either publicly or privately; we share music or spare memorabilia; we share...

Re: 78’s (from the 25) about to be listed 4sale

It would be nice if the friend would initially list these on the 'Trading Post' section of this Board to increase the chances of them going to a proper fan,...

I will be asking somebody for a copy of the whole set You got a birthday coming up? This luxury package looks a thing of beauty - but it's not for me. EC's made a habit of getting me to repeatedly re-purchase the same stuff over the years, seduced by the extra tracks, liner notes etc. However I've ...

Re: A girl named Wendy
I number myself amongst those very few who would be very keen on an official release of the GL. However I always presumed that as the songs were co-written and that as the two writers having parted somewhat accrimoniously (rumour) the sticking point was that an agreement by both parties was required...

My Darling Clementine's excellent recent show in Liverpool ( Country Darkness / Christmas Light ) included their take on Winter Song, which - and the current howling-in UK temperature - prompted me to search for EC's epic delivery from 20th December 2010 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53vn2_nrdoY...

Re: Worst Decision in Music History #48/50 according to Rolling Stone article
A weird list indeed, kept expecting The Columbus Incident to feature.
Went thru from 50 - 1 and kept trying to anticipate what would be top.
I got it wrong but RS indeed nailed the disastrous #1.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention!!
