I really didn't want to say anything on this thread until someone posts the ad. Is anyone here able to YouTube it? I've been searching daily and none of them (Krall/Legend/EC) have been put up yet. It is not virtuous to say that you'll never change your mind or opinion on something. We all change. B...

Yeah, about 3-4 years ago, Fopp took some money off venture capitalists to expand and now they're getting bigger and bigger. They took over the majority of Music Zone stores that went bust in the UK recently and in the course of a week did something crazy like double their number of outlets from 75 ...

A funky old vinyl shop will always have its charm. Last year, as a reaction to the virtual nature of my record collection (26,000 tracks on a 250Gb drive) I set up a 1980's Sony Hi-Fi with a great turntable and returded to buying albums in vinyl again. Stocking up on favourites from second hand shop...

The Right Spectacle for £3 - And record stores in general..

FOPP on the Tottenham Court Road in London were selling this for £3 yesterday. They had many, many, many copies for sale, however it's still £20 on their website. They also have many out of date versions of the back catalogue for sale: Original MLAR & TJL, 1993 versions of B&C, etc... Mayb...

If Universal are going to put EC on digital stores then hopefully we can all buy the new tracks on their own and forget about the album.

Whither the ringtones?

Enjoy...

Ho-hum. I think the Macca back-catalogue is one of the most misuderstood and unfairly maligned in Pop history. Here's a way of looking at it: Imagine John, Paul, George and Ringo had never been in a band called the Beatles and started as four solo artists in 1970. Which one would manage to create a ...

Arrived Monday morning, have pretty much watched the whole thing and it's great. The tv appearances are fantastic and it's a pity they stop at 1983, there's so much more they could have used to bulk it up to 1994: The Session from 1988, The Late Show Special from 1989, SNL from 1989 &91, Unplugg...

Can we use this thread to talk about the Egg? Good. The clue is in the packaging, it lists a credit for the alternative vid so it was easy enough to find and it seems to bo the only egg on the disc. What Lemo fails to mention is that it's worth the price of the dvd alone as you get a completely diff...

That's quite a story. EC said something on the night about foolishly passing up a chance to work with the band in the 80's and having come back into contact with Rise. As ardent Spike and BYouth fans the versions of Clown Strike, God's Comic and Rocking Horse Road were perfect. Pity You Tripped at E...
