Re: The Politics of Politics: The Ride of a Lifetime
No matter your candidate of choice, artificial barriers that were created to limit women and minorities have been broken, and hopefully all of the dams of injustice in this country will also start to crack. "Because you decided that change must come to Washington, because you believed that this...

Re: The Politics of Politics: The Ride of a Lifetime
WOAH! Nice catch BWAP! I was drifting asleep when I typed that...who knows who I was thinking of... I think I was thinking of the republicans who were bashing FDR for being a socialist, while he was pulling the country up by its bootstraps. Mr. Average, if President Obama says CHANGE, and eno...

Re: The Politics of Politics: The Ride of a Lifetime
I am voting for Obama. I've wanted him to run for President for around 5 years now; I've read both of his books. In my view, he has a great shot at being a great President, if he's elected. Barely anyone I meet agrees with me. They all scrunch up their faces, and say scary things that someone told t...

Re: Momofuku Poll #2 - Whaddya think?
It sounds like MOST of the songs on this album are continued explorations and extrapolations of previous songs. Segue and sequel.

Maybe the new angry young man lyrics are making my mouth think I'm stressed....
Don't call on me to help you out
don't come crying to me for sympathy
na na na na na na na na na na na...

If I was the pope, I would get rid of that stupid pope mobile. Doesn't that take away from the message a little bit?

Re: Momofuku Poll #2 - Whaddya think?
I know No Hiding Place kind of sounds like 2 or 3 songs from the past, but I'm happy to say, he's perfected what he was trying to do with those previous songs. I think this is his best version of that. Love it. I think I'm initially putting this album in the same category as Paul McCartney's most re...
