Ahhhh, the Berlin show... Made it to the venue by 8.05 to find that there was no support and EC was already rattling through Doll Revolution. According to the person sitting beside my pal Matt there had been a song played before DR but she didn't know what it was, so there might have been a Blue Cha...

Back to 1990's Squeeze for a mo'... Play and Some Fantastic Place are definitely worth it, Ridiculous has it's moments but it's where the rot set in. A lot of lyrics are Chris writing directy about himself (Electric Trains, Walk Away) and the production lacks some of the subtlety of the previous two...

Carson's funnier than Conan. Steve Allen's funnier than Conan. Heck, I'm funnier than Conan (on a good day). Carson never hit the airwaves on this side of the Atlantic, but to see him back-to-back with Letterman when on holidays to the US as a teen was a real treat. Only just this weekend my brother...

Flood by They Might Be Giants "Lincoln" was the album that made them famous, but "Flood" is the album that revealed their genius. Songs like "Birdhouse in Your Soul", "Whistling in the Dark" and "Dead" sound delightfully goofy, but the lyrics hold a...

Interesting to find out that The Rats have a track called Up All Night because to me hot new band Razorlight (their album's called Up All Night) sound just like the Rats, or at least the singer sounds like Geldof. My 2c.

U2 wont be at Glastonbury as they're playing Dublin on the same weekend. I'd also be surprised if EC went back as he has no fond memories of his 1994 performance or his mid-afternoon V2002 festival appearance.

EC loves clowns, doesn't he? I've cited my fandom for Ron elsewhere on the board, but I do also love the Fountains of Wayne. Oh yes. Anyone..?
