Isn't that the nature of any art? To manipulate senses, emotions and intellect? Just because you REALLY don't like what he is saying doesn't change that or make it any different from any other movie. It's nature of the beast to try to get a point across or an idea expressed through an artistic medium.

Aww you know you're adored Bluchair. It's a song about a past lover consoling the newly thwarted lover both victims of the same deceitful woman. It's written with venom and you're not sure how just it is, a rare scene musically or in any place of an older lovers hatred trying to soothe a new heartac...

Mr. Average-I agree with Bambooneedle on this one. No movie is aimed at an audience that either has disdain or indifference to for the subject matter. As for intellect and faith, mine are both woefully limited but my faith has served me far better. Bobster-'Blood Libel' is a term I'm not an expert o...

I think he meant paying it back by the mediative attention you gain for dwelling on the subject. If I may be so bold. I went in as a woman to this movie and left as one. I think the same thing can be said for anti-Semites. If you were one coming in, you'd be one leaving. If the aim of the movie was ...

I had dreaded seeing it as the ancient art of Passion play rarely lives up to the subject. Stylish and gripping in my opinion I don't care for Mr. Gibson in the least and had set the bar rather low. I was proved wrong. I loved the symbolism so much. The reality that Judas' true sin was despair rathe...

Miss Buenos Aires-Thank you. Your thirst for misadventure and mischief is far too endearing to merit scolding. Jackson Doofster-You generous words almost exceed your charm and wit. .almost. A toast to all those who dwelt in the basement. I know it's nostalgic but I love you all. Flirtation, music, l...

Verbal Gymnastics-No tale to tell. We exchanged pleasantries as he held my hand. A wonderfully soft hand! He was gracious and patient. I didn't want to keep him as many people were making demands it was cold and he was ill-poor lamb! It was wonderful to get so close and he was adorable wrapped up in...

It's reworking of the more blatant 'Big Sister' a play on the 'Big Brother' of Mr. Orwell. He takes Thatcher down a notch in 'Big Sister's Clothes' by not giving her the dubious honor of being in complete control. She hides behind her skirt so to speak and it manipulated as much as she is manipulate...

If I may be so bold to answer your question Paul B. 'Expert Rites' is from 'The Juliet Letters' it's a beautiful song. Elvis uses the voice of the Professor whose correspondence inspired the concept of 'The Juliet Letters'. Impassioned singing is wrapped in a melodious and dramatic arrangement. It's...
