Can ANYONE SAY ANYTHING about Kerry as a proven Leader, or shall we continue to mud wrestle in the pseudointellectual pleasuredome where, God-forbid, anyone will ever feel that it is noble to support and try to work with the current administration. Well, no we can't say anything about Kerry as a pr...

Frankly, I'm incredulous that anyone can get so worked up over either of the candidates. While Kerry is an unknown, it has become abundantly clear to me that W. Bush is not one of the great presidents, and is probably not even up to the level of the second rate ones. From what I've seen of him so fa...

Also, she shouldn't have been offended by the comment about hoping Cheney doesn't have a heart attack because, if he did, who would run the country. I've heard similar remarks from die-hard Republicans.

New York is a big state. Binghamton isn't really anywhere near New York City. However, it is home to a huge State university campus (SUNY Binghamton is widely considered to be the best school in the State system) so I'm sure there is plenty of activity there.

Mug, you weren't alone. My wife almost lost it during Real Emotional Girl. What a fantastic song! Some of my comments: I went to the Town Hall show last fall, and the accoustics at Town Hall are much better (not that the Beacon is horrible), and the audience at Town Hall was much better too. At the ...

My wife was not a particularly big fan - she barely tolerated my interest -until I took her to her first show last fall: EC and Steve Nieve at Town Hall here in New York City. She was floored by the performance and said it was the best concert she had ever seen. Needless to say, we're going to see h...

Re: It was 25 years ago today...Armed Forces remembered

Green Shirt - Looping samples and space-age sythns lead Costello slightly down the New Wave trail. The albums shortest track hints at the deep-rooted paranoia that is the product of sleep deprivation and childhood angst. Most Memorable Lyric: "Better cut off all identifying labels/ Before they...

How legitimate is the Drudge Report? A lot of it seems like right-wing propaganda. Drudge was the first person to break the Monica Lewinsky story, but he is somewhat of a pariah to the news media. I'm sure the major news outlets are scouring the planet for confirmation. If they find any, we'll be s...

I love Dylan but he has got to be one of the worst live performers I've ever seen. I actually fell asleep at a show he did at Radio City Music hall a few years ago.
