I just knew you'd get it. One of my favorites. But we need a question.

Beautiful picture Laughing Crow! I thought it was because 'Poe wrote on both of them' but the time frame is tight. The Mad Hatter is rumored to have a predilection for Edgar.

Bluechair-I confess Ravi plays a major role in all of my musical choices but strangely not in Ms. Jones case. Mr. Misery told me about her well before the media.

This isn't Jones vs. Krall!!! That some people bought Norah Jones without Elvis influence says enough-I need say no more. Even as a millionaire I would not have enough disposable income to buy a Diana Krall record. Burnished Gold-I know my opinion is niether here nor there to you, still forgive me. ...

I'm not calling her Brittany Spears. Her singing is a serious matter-I agree with that. She's worn clothing that perhaps aren't risque by your standards but I haven't seen loads of pictures and I think she's half naked in some. I'm not saying that her looks got her where she is today-I doubt that. I...

I heard him play both 'Alibi' and '45' on his Lonely World Tour in 1999. I heard 'When It Sings' in March of 2003 in his UCLA performance. It gave me hope for 'North'.

Otis Westinghouse-I've given up on what men like and understanding it. She seems to get some quite worked up, yet I think it's very little about her intellect or music and more about see-through clothing.

Gillibeanz-I agree as a moderate jazz fan I've endured enough Krall to weep profusely. Her 'Girl In The Other Room' (she SO didn't write the lyrics) is painful 'Almost Blue' is a capitol crime to be hanged for. Yet she seems something of a 'sacred cow' in certain circles. I've heard an interview and...

Mr. Misery-It's my honor. I hope you enjoyed it. You are so gracious I'm directing any future poetry directly to you! Ode to Mr. Misery On this quiet Friday in the middle of the night I praise the mind of one so marvelous and bright His graciousness is glorious even if my wit falls short In happiness or gloom he can't stop playing 'North' What a mind that can grasp my humor and better, finer ones Eyes that bask in...

Who is man enough to utter these words?

I'm a man traveling to Sweden and when I return I'll be toting a baby and carrying it to term The thought of feeling a baby growing inside of my belly Makes me want to write an ode in the style of Percy Shelley I'll be knitting booties in bluesy shades or pinkie As doctors make it medically possible...

Only if you're morbid.

Since it's a personal account sources don't have to be so detailed and they did listen to The Beatles. I thought it was a warm and thoughtful piece and he did have the distinction of being chosen to pen the commentary. Thank you for posting it John Foyle.
