I hope some of the leechers stick aroung to seed (or should it be "pip" ?).
Thanks for the honourable mention Otis, I'm happy that you like it. OJ always used to mess up, but instead of apologising they would just laugh and keep on going....

I watched "The Godfather" on US TV late last night. The intimate scene after Michael Corleone's wedding, where the virgin bride exposes her breasts to the groom for the first time, was shown with breasts mosaic-ed out. The rest of the movie was pretty much intact. I then switched over to s...

When seen in the context of the movie, "She" is a very powerful recording. Julia Robert's tears of joy give an added emotion to the song that isn't to be found when you listen to the bare recording. Personally I think it's one of the more powerful movie/music moments - and I'd say that eve...

I think "Beautiful" is an incredible song - I first heard it sung by Yuko at karaoke (Yuko of the signed back) and it turns up regularly on playlists on my iPod, or on mixes I make for people. To have Elvis record it is, well, spooky. As I've always said, I'm a big big fan of Elvis when he...

It looks like a two horse race... Have you seen the DVD of "Here Are The Young Men"? It's a DVD made of a 2nd or 3rd generation VHS so the picture quality isn't great, but the sound is very good. I've watched it a few times now, and it's pushed Dead Souls and Shadowplay to the top of my li...

I once dated a Portuguese/Japanese girl who was singing in a cabaret, Her song was a few bars of "On The Street Where You Live". She used to rehearse the song when she visited my apartment (her English wasn't very good, so it was difficult for her). Thinking I was helping her out, I downlo...

I'm happy to see the refrence to The Velvets.

The third OJ album was named "The Orange Juice". When asked why Edwyn responded that it was because the Velvets third album was called "The Velvet Underground". It was a tribute, of sorts.

I really like allmusic, it's just that your choice of song was a coincidence. Last week I found somebody on the internet who had 104 versions of the song - I just downloaded the entire folder.

There's some strange folk out there...

When I saw The Pixies last year, Frank Black made one guitar change - electric to acoustic. The show had much more continuity than EC shows of the last few years - to be honest I find the changes distracting.

Welcome to the Voice

I recently downloaded an mp3 version of the Welcome to The Voice show, I think from NY Town Hall 2000-06-09.
Does anybody have artwork or a tracklisting ? EC sings on 4 or 5 of the tracks.

Thanks in advance
Your friendly neighbourhood Storm
