I like it... it seems very jazz-influenced... wouldn't sound too far off on a Chet Baker album. At the same time, the vocals are very much like some of the more mellow songs on All This Useless Beauty.

Wings actually had some solid musicians in it... those of you who don't believe me, listen to Wings Over America. Say what you will about Linda, but Jimmy McCulloch, Denny Laine, Joe Englsih, and Paul McCartney are solid musicians.

Yeah, I was wearing sunglasses.

I also got totally sunburnt... we were standing for several hours, and managed to sit in 12th row just over to the side.

By the way, I took lots of pictures (although most look the same)... once I get them developed I'll try posting a few.

KANSAS? TOTO? What is this, wankville??? I agree with you on The Who, but I think my #1 vote goes to The Band. Whether they're having Levon on drums, Richard on piano, Garth on organ, Robbie on guitar, and Rick on bass; or Levon on mandolin, Richard on drums, Garth on accordion, Robbie on guitar, an...

Welcome aboard Mike! "Tokyo Storm Warning" would be great. Since it's a long song, you're fine to just do that one song.. though if you want to do another, that's certainly fine. noiseradio, you can have three for now, but know that one of yours will be the first to get cut if we run out o...

Well the show was great, but where were my beloved fan forum buddies? I guess in such a huge festival that none of us knew much about it it's hard to figure out where everyone is, though I hope some of you did have the chance to meet. I'm very jealous! The show was great.. we ended up at about 12th ...

BlueChair To America

I will be flying into Indiana to see my girlfriend today. I look forward to seeing some of you at tomorrow's Taste Of Chicago festival.

Either way, I will be back on Tuesday, and hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
