Bronxapostle~ Ah haha....you put the recorder up on the ledge?? I didn't see that. Haha, so that's why she came over......yeah, so we were wondering if you got in trouble after the show. Guess not! I take it you've done this before...haha What do you do with the recordings? What's the quality like?

Hi Bronxapostle! My husband and I were sitting next to you at the show. We wondered what happened to you after security came and questioned you! How did your recording turn out, concidering the people behind you wouldn't shut up??
It was an awesome show!! I had a great time.

Re: Elvis and The Sugarcanes, New York, NY, 10 Jun 2009

We have seats front row in the loge at the Beacon. The loge IS the best! (That coming from one vertically challenged individual....haha) Of course, the first few rows in the orchestra are pretty sweet too!
Elvis, in June, in the Big Apple.....it'll be great fun :D

Hi there! We got tix for the Beacon....front row loge!! Very excited. We've been to Town Hall but not the Beacon. I heard it was newly renovated.

Re: Relatively Insignificant EC Stuff. . .

Hi guys! I don't know if anyone remembers old SweetPear......hope everyone is well. Something has been driving me nuts so I have to ask you all.......There have been advertisements on television for the show HOUSE and someone who sounds an awful lot like Elvis [is singing a cover of I Don't Like Mon...

Re: Momofuku Poll #2 - Whaddya think?

I didn't read all of the posts but wanted to say that I got the CD for Mother's Day (and tix to EC w/the Police in Philly....9th row) and I've listened to it several times through. I think it sounds very SPIKE-esque. I like it! It gives me a feeling of Elvis of the past. I think he's still got it an...

I was at the show an arms length away from the stage. Great show, yes, possibly the best , or one of the best, I've ever been to. Elvis was just incredible....he was spot on. The band was hot, Elvis was hot, Alan was wonderful. Great set. (He played The Beat!! Ha! Never heard that one live.) So, so ...

Kumars @ No. 42

Geez, I'm not even sure that's the name of the show...did anyone see it? I just by chance happened to catch it the other week on BBC America. I don't know if it's been mentioned anywhere else here, I haven't had time to read through the site in a while. Anyway....it was pretty hilarious. E couldn't ...

I was at the show and I've been reading all the comments......incidentally, blogger #2 above is crocked . The show was INCREDIBLE! I spent a lot of money for the eight seats I bought and the t-shirt I bought, but it was totally worth it. (Brought the whole family, except for my little one and my son...

Mood Swung....I love your cute little piggy picture!! Saw Walk the Line and Cinerella Man.....both were so, so good. Watched them both again a few nights later. Then, since I hadn't seen Gladiator, we watched that. I never was a big Russell Crow fan, but I am now. Next is a Beautiful Mind. About 2 n...

I have always loved Suffering Face . It's one of Elvis' best vocal performances (didn't he say he was drunk when recording it ? ) and I've never quite understood why it was left off King Of America. The combination of gorgeous melody and unashamedly sentimental lyrics ("Once I was the je...

Blue, I'm so sad to hear that you won't be seeing Elvis! But I don't blame you one bit, the ticket prices are insane. I'm so embarrassed to even say how much we spent for the tickets to the Decades of Rock thing. Add the ridiculous "handling fee" and it's a crime. It's just sad cause we kn...

Ah! I can't believe what I'm reading! The Delivery Man? The Delivery Man? And Let Him Dangle?? Good Gosh! King of Thieves is one of my favs and I LOVE his cover of Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.
