please stay.
offa 'kv'.
that gets my vote as the best cover ever.
the moodiness of the whole song.
the strained singing.
yeah, it's slower and all but...
heard it a 100 time and do not tire of it.

it's a song about a building. it's always been hard for me to get up for it. the music is nice but not special. i think it is one of those things where the building means something to you if you grew up by/near it. i recently went back to new york, where i grew up, for the first time in a good 13 ye...

suit of lights. this song connects. i do not remember which disc it is on in the costello/nieve set but i love elvis' introduction. that is when a lot of it fell in place for me. i like in when how he sings it you can feel his empathy. it's like a haughty ' that'll never be me' with an underlying ' ...

i go along with uncomplicated.
he did that at a show in atlanta last year and it was fantastic.
the other highlight of the night was the acoustic "still too soon to know" sans mic.
both were huge treats.

And song for song, GCW has more quality songs on it than Spike, Mighty, and dare I say it, ATUB, that is a bold statement i might give you 'atub' but mighty is full of quality songs and spike is lousy with them, especuially on the first side. i,too, like 'gcw' i just would not go that far. i think ...

i have heard a number of versions of 'running out of angels'. i like the one where he's got to start over. also, i liked the one on the king of americana, if i am not mistaken. i find the whole song lyrics intriguing in a number of different ways. it is one of the few songs that actually changes mea...

love 'i turn around'. this song is soooo simple but the lyrics deliver. my daughter loves it, too. my brother used to work for a college radio station and made me a cassette of extras just as the ryko's were coming out. neat to get the first listen to cheap reward, psycho, live motel matches. and my...

this is like one song with three titles cannot think of coal train robberies without any king's shilling and last boat leaving. for the 'three' of them, none stick out in any way , shape or form. it is hard to find an 'immemorable'(word?) elvis song but these three come close when i had spike on cas...

i like tokyo's suggestion

it really might be time to move on
everybody had their say and we really aren't progressing, are we?

i loved the juliet letters
the songs, in the main, had a lot of heart
i still like to listen to the 'rockers' but the emotional ones get to me more.
maybe it's the kids...
